~Chapter 12~

Norway:Ngh! Don’t put it there!”

Reader: “S-Sorry…This is my first time…”

Norway: “Well, then don’t do it so hard!”

Reader: “…Does it really hurt?”

Norway: “What do you think?”

Reader: “I’m sorry. I’ll be more gentler this time.”

Norway: “Idiot…I was wrong to assume that just because you were a girl, you would already know how to do this.”

Reader: “I didn’t have anyone to show me! Now stay still so I can try again.”

Denmark: “You two need to get a room.”

Reader: “Be quiet, Mathias! It’s embarrassing enough with you just standing there.”

Denmark: “What, would you like me to show you how it’s done?”

Reader: “I can do it.”

Denmark: “But it’s out of the hole.”

Reader: “Is that what it’s called?”

Denmark: “Well, that’s what it looks like. Here, let me help you get it back in.”

Norway: “This is a waste of time…”

Denmark: “Let’s see, all we have to do is stick it back in here.”

Reader: “Like this?”

Denmark: “Yeah—Hold on. Be careful.”

Reader: “…Who knew it could get this lengthy?”

Denmark: “I know, right? Though if it were any thicker, we would have had some problems.”

Norway: “Would you two hurry up?!”

Denmark: “Geez, you really want to get this over with, don’t you?”

Norway: “Of course! We’re wasting time!”

Denmark: “Ah, don’t worry about it. Just take it nice and slow. It might give him time to cool off his head.”

Reader: “Are you sure?”

Denmark: “Positive!”

Norway: “You are both idiots!”

Denmark:Someone’s a little feisty.”

Norway: “I am not! I just want to hurry up and finish this so I don’t have to act so helpless any longer—Augh! Not so tight!”

Reader: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

Denmark: “It’s fine. Let’s see how he likes it when you get a little rough.”

Reader: “B-But…!”

Denmark: “He’s always liked it when people played hard to get.”

Reader: “Huh?”

Norway: “Don’t be such a fool. I don’t like any such thing.”

Denmark: “I know, I know. I was just teasing. You like me because I’m so irresistible and handsome even as a human, right?”

Norway: “I swear if I didn’t have to stand here like this, I’d lunch on your head.”

Denmark: “You don’t mean that.”

Norway: “I do!”

Reader: “Stop moving! It’s hard to get it in with you fidgeting like this!”

Norway: “…”

Reader: “Mm, why is it so rough all of a sudden? It—curses, it’s stuck!”

Norway:Now what did you do? Wait, don’t move it! It’ll hurt!”

Denmark: “Since when did you become such a weakling? Is it because your well-being is in the responsibility of a girl?”

Norway: “It’s not that, you fool.”

Reader: “No, it’s really stuck. Can you help me pull it out?”

Denmark: “Why don’t you just push it even further?”

Reader: “B-Because I don’t want to hurt him.”

Denmark: “He’s tough enough. He can handle a little shove.”

Reader: “I don’t know...”

Denmark: “Here, let me help.”

Norway: “Wait, wait, wait! No! You—Ungh! Stop it! You’re making it worse!”

Denmark: “No, I’m not.”

Norway: “Get your filthy hands away from me!”

Denmark: “Hey, I thought we were friends. It’s okay for friends to touch each other, isn’t it?”

Norway: “Not when they’re being so rough!”

Reader: “You should be more careful.”

Norway: “Look who’s talking; you made it too tight, you went too fast, you were clumsy, and you even got it stuck.”

Reader: “That’s it! I give up!”

Denmark: “Wait, hang on. Just stay here for a little bit. It’s almost loose. I—ah, it slid out again.”

Reader: “Was the hole always so big?”

Denmark: “No, more like the tip became smaller. You pressed on it too much.”

Reader: “Oh. That makes sense.”

Reader: “This is impossible…I thought this was supposed to be easy.”

Denmark: “Who ever said it was easy? It’s a skill.”

Reader:“What do you know about this?”

Denmark: “I can get it back into the hole. Look, it's in.”

Reader: “Is that all?”

Denmark: “That’s the only hard part.”

Reader: “No, it’s not. There’s way more to this than you’d think. Here. I’m done anyway. Do you want to give it a go?”

Denmark: “Really? Fantastic!”

Norway: “What? No!”

Denmark: “Don’t worry. I’ll be gentle.”

Reader: “I’m tired of putting up with him, anyway.”

Norway: “I can’t last through another round. Just leave it.”

Denmark: “I promise I’ll be gentle.”

Norway: “I thought you said I enjoyed those who were rough.”

Denmark: “And I said I was teasing. You like people like me.”

Norway: “You’re so arrogant.”

Reader: “Not as arrogant as you.”

Norway: “What?”

Reader: “Nothing.”

Norway: “…”

Reader: “How’s it going?”

Denmark: “You’re right. It gets tougher the further I go up.”

Reader: “See?”

Denmark: “Hmm…I want to use force, but I said I’d be gentle. Actually, it might be easier if I went from the back.”

Norway: “Just don’t tear anything while you’re at it.”

Denmark: “Okay, okay. I’ll try to be careful.”

Norway:Ngh…!

Denmark: “There, you see? It wasn’t so bad, now, was it?”

Norway: “I…suppose not.”

Reader: “It’s about time you admitted you were wrong.”

Norway: “I highly suggest you get some more experience before trying something like that on me again.”

Reader: “Excuse me for being so young.”

Denmark: “Now that you know how to do it, I’ll let you take control next time, alright?”

Norway: “There won’t be a next time. I’m never exposing myself like that again.”

Reader: “I don’t mind. It wasn’t as easy as I had imagined it.”

Denmark: “Oh, wait, don’t move. I have to get this out.”

Norway: “…”

Denmark: “There. All done. How do you feel?”

Norway: “Better.”

Denmark: “Aw, you admitted it. How about a thank you?”

Norway: “…No.”

Denmark: “Come on.”

Norway: “No.”

Denmark: “Now, who’s the stubborn one?”

Norway: “Fine. Thank you. Both of you.”

Denmark: “You’re welcome.”

Reader: “I don’t think I deserve it. I mean, you did all of the work, after all.”

Denmark: “No, we did it together. Don’t be so humble.”

Lukas sighed and looked back at his mended wing. There were some jagged parts where the black string had become tangled or messed up thanks to your clumsy hands and Mathias’ interference, but other than that, it looked like his wing was in tiptop shape again.

You frowned and crossed your arms. I don’t think I’m ever going to try something like sewing again.

“It wouldn’t hurt to learn in case a situation arises where you might need it,” Emil advised. “You never know.”

“I doubt it,” you said aloud.

After giving his wing a few test flaps, Lukas looked at both you and Mathias.

“You know, the more I think about it, that conversation we just had must have sounded very inappropriate.”
This is chapter 12 of my Dragon!Norway series, but I put up the names of the people talking for this and that reasons. If you haven't read the original, I highly recommend you don't read this.

Axis Powers: Hetalia and its characters belong to Himaruya Hidekazu.
