AustriaxReader~Classical Over Romantic~
You were listening to Roderich play a nocturne by Chopin on his eight-foot grand piano. It was one of your favorite nocturnes, Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2. Every time he played the melody followed by the trill, your music senses swooned. You remembered trying to play the same piece, but always got your fingers tangled when playing the arpeggios.
When the piece finished, you gave your Austrian friend a one-man (or in this case, one-woman) applause.
"How was that, __________?" he asked scooting his bench back.
'It was nice," you smiled. "Although…"
"Yes?"
"Why do you always play Chopin or Beethoven?" you asked. "If I remember correctly, Chopin's Polish and Beethoven's German. Why don't you play something by Mozart? He's Austrian like you, after all."
Roderich furrowed his eyebrows and scowled. He always did that when he was displeased.
"I just feel like Mozart's pieces aren't…" his voice trailed off.
"Aren't what?" you asked tilting your head.
Instead of giving you a direct answer, Roderich gave you a small biography on your favorite Classical composer.
"Mozart started composing at age four and began playing for royalty at only six. He grew up to be very rambunctious about his talents and had poor money habits and manners. As a result, he died at a very young age."
"What does that have to do with playing his music?" You felt like he was avoiding the topic. You were getting tired of the slow stuff. You wanted to hear something livelier, something like Mozart.
"Can you play a Mozart song for me, anyway?" you asked.
Roderich looked reluctant.
"Pretty please?" you asked making the best puppy-dog impression you could muster.
Finally, Roderich gave in. "Alright, alright. Just for you."
You listened with complete earnest as he began to play Rondo Alla Turca (a.k.a. Turkish March). You leaned forward and watched his fingers dance across the ivory keys as he played the scales and octaves.
This was more like it. It made you feel alive. It made you want to dance—but it would be extremely impolite to get out of your seat before he was done so you stayed put.
Immediately after Roderich hit the last chord, you stood up and gave him a standing ovation. He looked surprised that you were so enthusiastic about this piece—even more than the soft, slow pieces he had, up until now, always played for you.
"Would you like me to play another Mozart piece?" he asked.
You smiled. "Yes, please."
This time, Roderich played the ever-popular Sonata in C Major. You've always enjoyed the brisk notes that hoped from one key to the next and the unexpected minor key that the piece shifted into towards the end. Like the last time, you clapped louder than he'd ever heard you clap before.
"You really like Mozart, don't you?" he commented with a slight smile.
"Of course!" you laughed. "All those slow songs make you sound so serious and boring. Just hearing you play more vivace makes you look more approachable." You paused.
"Why didn't you ever play these songs before?" you asked again.
Roderich hesitated. He violet eyes appeared to be searching for the right answer.
"It's just…Chopin was is one of the most recognized Romantic composers because of his lyrical music style…"
"Roddy…" You stretched out his nickname in your pitch-changing voice. He wasn't giving you a direct answer.
"…And the Moonlight Sonata I play for you…do you know why Beethoven wrote that piece?"
"Money? Commission?" you guessed.
Roderich shook his head. "It was because he was trying to woo an unrequited lover."
"Oh…"
Now that you thought about it, when you were requesting any specific piece, Roderich liked to play slow, melodic songs for you. He never played any of that Impressionistic or Contemporary crap with the atonal sounds, unpredictable rhythms, and weird meters you hated so much.
Roderich continued to speak. "I thought that by playing more romantic pieces…I'd maybe be able to…" His voice trailed off, and he frowned. You detected a faint blush forming on his fair complexion.
"…You thought I'd be swayed," you finished for him.
Roderich nodded slowly.
"I guess I was wrong about you, ___________," he said. "If I had known you liked those pieces, I would've played those instead. Maybe then…" His voice trailed off again as he pressed his lips together. His cheeks were significantly redder now.
You burst out laughing. "Maybe I would've fallen in love with you sooner!"
Roderich looked at you with a puzzled expression. "'Sooner?'"
Now it was your turn to blush. "I've been debating on whether or not my feelings were genuine, but I know they're real now." You stared into Roderich's soft violet eyes and smiled. "I love you, Roddy."
"__-___________..."
Your flustered Austrian friend wasn't going to take the initiative so you went in his stead. You closed your eyes as the space between your lips disappeared into a kiss.
When you pulled away, Roderich's face was bright-red, but he managed to gain his composure.
"I love you, too, __________," he said.
You giggled. "Now that we both do, do you think you could play some more Mozart for me?"
Roderich scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
"Actually, I don't know any other Mozart pieces. I only know the ones I played for you because my teacher made me practice them. I mostly only know Romantic pieces."
"What kind of Austrian pianist are you?" you laughed jabbing playfully at Roderich's arm. "You'd better start practicing, Roddy!"
"Yes, of course," he promised.
It only took him a few days to learn the Sonata in F Major.

AustriaxReader- Valentines Dance
"Bye Mrs. Hedervary!" You called as your best friend's mom left for work after letting you into her house. You sighed and started climbing the stairs, trying to figure out a cruel way to wake up Elizaveta to make sure she wouldn't sleep in ever again which was going to inevitably make the both of you late.
You finally reached her room and poked your head in, and your eyes landed on her sleeping figure. You tip-toed over to her and your eyes landed on a picture on her dresser. It was of her and her boyfriend Gilbert. A evil smirk took over your face as you attempted to lower your voice before beginning to whisper to her.

England X Reader - Gentleman
You snuggled deeper into your overcoat as you headed toward the university. The crisp autumn atmosphere rolled all across England, meaning your evenings were now filled with hot chocolate and hearth fire.
And Arthur, of course, who you were on your way to see now.
Arthur really was the perfect boyfriend, a true gentleman straight out of a 19th century romance novel complete with perfect manners and the ability to dance.
Before you started to date, he actually called your father and asked his permission to "court" you. His chivalry wasn't forced or investing, it was simply in Arthur's nature: He was never rude to you, he was always consider

Dance With Me
You sighed, looking in your closet for a dress. Your friend Becca invited you to some dance… She wanted you to meet some guy named Rome… It was an interesting name for a person. You finally found a dress, and pulled it on. You found matching heels, and curled your hair.
When you got to the dance, Becca ran up to you. “(Name)!!” Becca exclaimed. “Come on, Rome is waiting.” She said, grabbing your hand. She led you to a room, and shoved you inside. “Have fun!”
You blushed. “U-uh, hi, I’m (name).” you introduced.
He grinned, and walked tow

I used to not like Mozart, but after 9 years of piano lessons, I think I can officially say I am able to appreciate the ingenious process behind old-school musical composition.
EDIT: I changed the nocturne to Op. 9 No. 2 because it was one of the pieces used in the anime. It sounds nice, too.
